Some of What You'll Do
- Schedule service appointments; obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible
- Promote and attain dealership standards for superior workmanship
- Create and update repair order documentation with accurate vehicle diagnostics
- Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner
- Refers to service history, inspects vehicle when needed, and recommends additional needed service
- Advises customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
- Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts and establishes an estimated repair timeline
- Obtains customer signature on repair order; provides customer with a copy
- If needed, contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimated or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed
- Closes repair order as appropriate
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems, tools, and repair processes
- Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Professional work ethic and high integrity
- Strong problem solving and follow up skills
- Ability to work as a team and/or independently
