Some of What You'll Do
- Assists all customers (retail & shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
- Informs customers of companion part requirements and promotions/specials when applicable
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information
- Reviews body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
- Notifies the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
- Locates out-of-stock parts from vendors and submits order when appropriate
- Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received
- Follows up on back-ordered parts
- Assists sales representatives with client orders
- Oversees all internal requests for parts and verifies correct billing on service repair orders
- Other tasks as assigned
What We Are Looking For
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems, tools, repair processes, and part application
- Outstanding attention to detail with a commitment to quality
- Excellent communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Professional work ethic and high integrity
- Strong problem solving and follow up skills
- Ability to work as a team and/or independently
